In a private house with a prevalent exposure to the north and bordering with other houses in a historic center, the owner asked for the intervention of one of our certified applicators. After several interventions and restorations of plaster affected by constant presence of moisture from and the unpleasant color of the green facade caused by algae present in the surface condensation of the walls, decided to proceeds with our solution.
After a wall oversight to ensure that the background is adequately stable, preparing the wall with an initial wash to neutralize the fungus algae, we switched to the ISOBELL BOND glue application. Then we opted to use insulating isobell rolls for easy installation. We concluded in a few days giving the façade a new aesthetic and functional aspect with the application of ISOBELL FACEDE with siloxane painting we also solved the longstanding problem of the formation of algae in the north exposed areas.
A non-invasive restore allowed, to preserve the facade’s aesthetics and to bring a permanent solution to the problem of rising damp removing the micro-cracks and surface efflorescence caused by the damp salts.
